I have two small frozen pea size lumps/bumps in my right armpit. They are both slightly red, uncomfortable and tender. What are they? I have not shaved recently, so it doesn't appear to be an infected follicle. I am a 55 year old female. Should I see my regular doctor?
HI. These may be infected small sebaceous cysts. Since they are red and tender you may please see a regular Doctor for a prescription of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines for a few days, they may drain very soon.
