What Does A Small Tear In Uterus Mean During Pregnancy?
My doctor told me at my first appointment (10 weeks) that my ultra sound showed I had a small tear in my uterus. What does this mean for my baby and i? I had one day around 9 weeks where a had tiny bit of light pink spotting but it stopped pretty fast. I ve tried to research this but I ve come up with nothing other then other women saying they can t find any info on this either. I m 12 weeks tomorrow and feel pretty good. I haven t had any morning sickness only shortness off breathe and some growing/stretching pains but not much. Please help.
Once the sperm meets the ovum around the middle of your cycle,in the Fallopian tube, it transfers to the Uterus ( Womb), where it rapidly keeps dividing to grow. It gets attached by specialised cells to the lining of the Uterus wall. Sometimes this attachment is not tight & a little blood leaks. Your shortness of breath needs evaluation, it could be related to your anxiety about the bleeding & your baby's health. Suggest you repeat your Ultrasound Scan to confirm that your baby is growing well, that the brain & Spinal cod are fine. Most of all be positive.
