What Does Abdominal Pain, Hot Sweats And Improper Bowel Movement Indicate?

my partner who is obese but healthy (full doc check) has been having paind in lower abdomen then round his back, hot sweats and lack of apetite not really feeling sick but not feeling well, hasnt had a really good poo just small ones though feel the need to have a good clear out, took sachet of fibrogel last night and went a little better this morning but still sweating suddenly

HI.
Thanks for your query and concern for your friend.
The history of pain , sudden sweating , not feeling normal, not having normal stools is all indicative of few things:
Intestinal infection.
Typhoid

I would advise your friend the following:
First of all send the samples for -
Blood: Widal , CBC, sugar and creatinine.
Urine and stool - routine tests.
Ultrasonography just to rule out any organic lesion.

A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotic for 5 days and then to change medicines as per the reports if need be or extend the antibiotic for 3 weeks if Typhoid is positive.

If no relief after the course , then only you can go for further tests of colonoscopy and CT scan of the abdomen.
