What Does Anteverted Bulky Uterus With Intrauterine G/sac Seen Mean?
Went in for an ultrasound today, not exactly sure of when my last menstruation was but around April definitely. Doctor couldnt see a baby but sac was there and she also mentione im 7 weeks and 2 days. what does it mean when my report says i have an anverted bulky uterus with intauterine G/sac seen. A/v uterus measure 9.3cm*4.4cm*5.6cm. the sac measures 2.2 cm and corresponds to 7weeks and 2 days. there is no fetal pole yet seen. Both ovaries are regular and normal; the left corpus luteum measures 3.4cm * 2.2cm. no other adnexal masses seen. there is no evidence of free fluid seen.
Dont worry its absolutely normal. Anteverted uterus means it is anatomically normal and the pregnancy is inside uterus. Fetal pole is expected to be seen by 7wks but you can repeat the scan after 1wk to confirm
