What Does Anteverted Uterus, Ovaries With Immature Peripheral Follicles Adn Echogenic Central Echoes Mean?

Hi, i have been having irregular menstrual periods for about four years now. After series of medications, i had a pelvic scan yesterday. The results statesnormal anteverted uterus, myometrial echotexture, 60mm x 36mm x 34mm; both ovaries in normal sizes but with immature peripheral follicles and echogenic central echoes. Normal adnexae and free pouch of douglas. Pls what does all these mean, and what is the implication

This is a typical appearance of polycystic ovaries.
This may represent a part of a clinical syndrome called PCOD, which is characterized by irregular cycles and sub fertility. Women with this syndrome are generally obese & may be prone to some later life complications like endometrial hyperplasia.
