What Does Beta Following FET From 130 To 164 Indicate?

My first Beta following my FET was 130 on 15 dpo, the next beta 40 hours later was just 164. This concerns me as it did not rise within the normal range. I did transfer two embryos. Is it possible that both took initially and then one did not progress thus skewing my numbers.

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. It is true that the serum beta-hCG titres show doubling every 2-3 days with a progressive pregnancy. Your titres do not show such doubling. Possibly, one of the embryos may have failed to progress as you suspect, but, this needs confirmation through a trans-vaginal sonogram. Please do not stress; wait for a couple more days and repeat the test and inform your consultant for further management. continue with medication suggested by your doctor. Wish you good health.
