[which concerned me at the time] then i felt like i needed it again. i went and the poo was brown [which is normal] i went again after that and was brown again also. now I'm not having any pains or anything. i do feel sick. and this morning i taken some Co-codamol for that. [not sure if i was just constipated hence the black poo.] please help.:)

Hello,

Initial black stool may be from the intestine flora disturbances of distal colon or else.

If repeatedly, then require evaluation otherwise plenty of liquids and high fiber intake with psyllium husk will take care of it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
