Hello, Your explanation allows me to relate the symptom of bleeding almost always to the intercourse. The possibilities are local causes like erosion of the cervix, cervical polyp, cervicitis or vaginitis. Trauma during intercourse is another common cause. Since you have had the spotting too often, you need to see a specialist, get a proper evaluation and also investigations. You would need a trans-vaginal sonogram, swabs of the cervix and the vagina, pap smear, hormone profile, blood counts and urinalysis. Further management can be planned accordingly. Please abstain until proper diagnosis is made. Hope this helps.
