What Does Blood In Urine Suggest?

Hi Doctor, I’m from the Philippines. I’d like to consult regarding my boyfriend’s condition. He recently complained about having blood in his urine. Though he said it only happened once, im still not secured that it’s normal and something I/We shouldn’t care about. Thank you so much.

- urinary infection - calculus in urinary system - certain drugs induced
- dehydrations with cystitis - tumors - others

* Suggestions at present
- Give him plenty of liquids
- Cranberry sachets once daily in a glass of drinking water , organic citrus
fruits , vitamin c supplements
- Avoid exposure to excess heat , smoking , alcohol
- No sex activities at present
- consult later doctor if following all above for 48 hrs , he has blood in
urine then
