HI 2WEEKS AGO I SENT MY SAMPLE OFF FOR BOWEL CANCER SCEENING AND LAST WEEKI RECEIVED A LETTER SAYING I HAVE TRACES OF BLOOD I DO HAVE PAIN IN MY STOMACH AND SOME NIGHT SWEATS IWENT TO SEE MY GP WITH PAIN IN JANUARY THIS I HAD TO DO A URINE SAMPLE MY GP SAID THEIR WERE BLOOD BUT SAID IT WAS DU,E TO THE PAIN IN MY STOMACH. I SENT A SECOND BOWEL SCEENING SAMPLE OFF MY AGE IS 62

OCCULT BLOOD IN STOOL NEEDS FURTHER EVALUATION BY ENDOSCOPY.
IN YOUR CASE I WILL SUGGEST TO DO UPPER GI SCOPY FIRST AS YOU ARE COMPLAINING OF STOMACH PAIN.IF NORMAL YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY GO AHEAD WITH COLONOSCOPY.
