What Does Bright Orange Blood Along With Low Grade Fever Indicate?
Hello, my sister is 41 and just finished 10 days of leviquen (not spelled correctly) for bronchitis. She has ran a low grade fever the whole time, she s had chest X-rays not pretty but no phenomena. Today she went back and had another chest X-ray and blood work. When they lady drew her blood she said vial must be bad, because her blood was orange like bright jail house clothes orange, the lady drew a total of 4 vials all bright orange even on her gauze and her CBC showed barely high on her count but gallbladder was 3 times higher than should be. They sent her to have pertussis test and won t know till next week. US on gallbladder tomorrow. Why we re they all shocked by blood color and not keep her at the hospital. My sister has been a nurse for 20 years and has a lot of medical friends non that can explain the blood color? Of course we are all vey concerned. What is causing this?
I have never heard of orange color blood and before doing a USG gall bladder I think they should have done a bilirubin test to know whether the bilurubin is high and does she have a jaundice. Anyways kindly update with all the blood test to give you a better answer. All what you have written sounds haywire.
