What Does Calculus Measuring 5mm Noted In Lower Pole Mean?

as per scan report my both kidneys are normal in size and echotexture. calculus measuring 5mm noted in lower pole of right kidney and 3 to 4 mmnoted in mid pole of right kidney & 5 mm noted in upper pole of left kidney.... please let me know what is the problem as i am not aware of medical words

Thanks for query,
Based on the report of your scan you have stones in both the kidneys .

Every kidney has three portions upper ,middle and lower and the stones reported indicate position of stone in relation to the portion of kidney ,

You have stones in both the kidney .

However since they are small you can expect them to pass with urine

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to pass them down through urinary passage.
