What Does Carcinoid Fevers With Episodes Of Fevers Suggest?

I just wrote a previous question on NET's (carcinoid tumors) and episodic fevers with no evidence of infection sites on exam- only elevated WBC's. These fevers are accompanied by extreme weakness- and are again,recurrent- Can you help me understand the meaning of these symptoms..."tumor fever" has been mentioned...What is this?

HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for asking
I really appreciate your concern, it is the carcinogenic response, certain toxic substances releases from the tumor which causes the fever and with antibody response WBC increases the pathophysiological response is totally different in compare to infection (Bacterial or viral ) although complete mechanism not fully known, hope this information helps.
