Hello,

By your history and description, the possibility of herpes zoster infection is more likely. It is a viral infection affecting the skin. It causes tiny blisters (fluid-filled reddish bumps) with pain.

So better to take her to the dermatologist and get done a clinical examination of skin lesions. She will need acyclovir (antiviral) oral tablet. Local application of steroid (mometasone) cream is also beneficial. Pregabalin or gabapentin is also advisable for pain relief. Don't worry she will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
