What Does Cholesterol Of 205 And LDL Of 39 Indicate?

Thanks ..I m 61 years of age taking twice a month testosterone shots ..libido and Ed issues ..I also am taking thyroid medicine ..my cholesterol was 205 ..my LDL 39 I am a vegetarian and eat zero dairy ..I eat veggies and fruits and nuts ..my question is ..are these levels albeit just above normal of concern? My hd list ok as is my triglycerides

I see from your question that you are requesting help with interrupting the cholesterol level from your doctor. The elevated Cholesterol level is just above the normal range and may be within statistical error. You also have a low LDL which is more in line with good control of you cholesterol levels. LDL is the most telling when determining risk of atherosclerosis from high cholesterol. If you were my patient I would reassure you that the numbers are good and that any further action on your part is not needed.
