What Does Chronic Calcific Density Mean?

I was just diagnosed with a small chronic calcific density along the dorsum of the foot, at the level of the base of the first toe. This may represent chronic posttraimatic versus chronic degenerative change. My questions is this, what exactly does that mean?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having some calcified deposit which is suspected to be due to post traumatic or degenerative. Generally calcium deposits in tissues when tissue became dead. In your case post traumatic means after injury and degerative means due to aging and chronic means which occur slowly and is for longer time. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
