What is the difference between bacterial and viral labrynthesis? How are each caused? Thank you! I am a 29 year old healthy female, 5'6" tall weighing 120 lbs. I exercise daily and eat for my blood type. Having had many ear infections as a child, I was just diagnosed with Labrynthesis and am very tired. (Please see above.)
hello, thanks for your query, bacterial could be due to middle ear infections or head injury, meningitis, viral could be due to measles virus, mumps, glandular fever. as such labyrinthitis can cause nausea, vomiting , giddiness due to infection of labyrinth , which is a main organ for balance. absolute bed rest, I've antibiotics, vertin , will help. all the best. take care.
