What Does Elevated Body Temperature Along With Breathing Difficulty Indicate?

My mom is 88 and last night she got very very ht and didn t feel right, then couldn t breathe. Said was an awful sound trying to breathe. Today throat is sore from it. Trying to get her to go to doctors, said if happened again she would. I don t agree with that. She has seven stints in her heart.
