What Does Foul Smell From Vagina Indicate?

Greeting, Please I ran a swab test and it showed under micro pus cells 1-2 /hpf and epithelia cells ++ /hpf othes nil. Also under culture, it says yielded no bacterial growth after 24 hrs of incubation at 37degree Celsius. However, I observed an offensive odour from my vagina which is why I ran the test but I don t understand the results. The last time I did a swap, it showed presence of candida and during treatment which was supposed to be 7 days long, I had to stop after the third day because my period came. Afterwards, I didn t complete the vaginal inserts.

Hello
I understand your concern. foul smell from vaginal commonly occurs due to candidiasis. There is also pus cell and epithelial cells present which indicates infection. If there is no bacterial growth on culture then also you can take a treatment for candidiasis. Last time also you did not completed the treatment. so this time complete the course of treatment for candidiasis. you will relieved from foul smell once you complete the treatment.
thanks
