What Does Hcg Hormone Results Indicate?
Hi it's Tanya I m 5 weeks pregnant.after 4 weeks of being pragnancy had a little spotting once dark brown duscharg , been to doc had a scan done Norman and vaginal also they said it's very early stage to see anything! The hcg hormone is 467 on first time and after 48 hours it was 833! I still don't know what's going on ! It means is there a twins or just single pragnancy?? Can someone plz tell me something plzz!

See, hCG hormone increases till 10-11 weeks of pregnancy, then sustains a high level. You are in your early weeks of pregnancy and hCG almost doubles up per 48-60 hours time. So your values are perfectly okay and does not necessarily suggest a twin pregnancy. You need not worry. And yes, it is too early to find anything in USG. Get a scan done after 3-4 more weeks.
