Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
there are 2 possibilities
1. migraine induced by stress. The type of pain you have described is typical to an attack of migraine. The
throbbing pain at the sides of the head are the typical features. The other additional features are - nausea, vomitting,
photophobia,
phonophobia etc.
2. the other option is
tension headache. The stress may trigger the headache on its own and this is called the tension headache. However the other features do not add up.
I would like to know the duration of the headache. And the frequency of headaches
I will suggest taking pain killer as soon as possible. You could use something like triptans-
sumatriptan, or zolmetriptan (
nasal spray available).
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.
