Greetings, madame! Welcome to HealthCare Magic and thank you for your question. I understand your concern.

One of the main factors that make the heart maintain an increased heart rate are psychological factors, such as stressful situations, fear, anxiety or panic attacks. I would not worry about the cardiac stress echo, because even if there is a problem with your heart, it is better to confirm now and fix it. Although, I am almost sure that there is nothing wrong, a very positive approach is that every reasonable test is done and then exclude the cardiac origin of the problems, with highest certainty. If you are a contingent of people who suffer panic attacks in terrain of psychological stress, I would recommend you to be physically active, for 60-120 minutes a day, as the benefits from physical activity are not only in the context of physical fitness, but also very marked positive effects are seen in the psychological domain. To sum up, in the end, I would suggest you not to worry. Above all, it is just a medical test and nothing more. I wish you a good luck and a good health.
One last thing: if this stress affects your quality of life, I would also recommend a consult with a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist, to discuss the possibility of starting on a course with sedative treatment.

I hope this helped. Take care.

Best regards,
Dr. Meriton
