I've noticed a heavy white coating on my tongue that I cannot brush off. I've done online searches on it and it seems it may mean some other health conditions are the cause of it. I need to find a local doctor by me to assist me in my problem. Can someone help me, please?
I have gone through your query. You did not mention any history of trauma in the tongue. The non-scrappable lesion suggests it can be lichenplanus or other types of candidiasis. check if your immunity is low /diabetic. Cut down on tobacco if you are a smoker. Visit your oral surgeon. They can take you for a biopsy for a definitive diagnosis and treatment. Hope this helps
