What Does Impaired Relaxation Of The Left Ventricle Stage 1 Mean?

I have impaired relaxation of the left ventiricle stage 1 what does this mean and also trivial tricuspid regurgitation is visualized, I also was born with mitro value prolapse and heart diease runs in my family do I have to get this further investigated I am a 54 white female

hi
this means grade 1 diastolic dysfunction.
trivial regurgitation is not to worry, it will not cause any complications,
if you are already a case of mitral valve prolapse,then this finding for your age is okay.
until your left ventricular ejection fraction is normal,and luckily there is no mitral regurgitation, you do not have to worry.
you can better start on low dose of anti-platelets,if required anti-hypertensives, ( if blood pressure is on the higher side).
you can check out with your lipid profile, & renal function tests & angiogram, & evaluation with the cardiologist.
