What Does Inconsistent But Moderately Productive Cough In 4 Month Baby Indicate?

I have a 4mo old with an inconsistant but moderately productive cough for the past couple days. Sounds a bit raspy in the upper resp. area when coughing but not necessarily wheezy sounding. No fever. No barking sound. Nurses well every 2 hours. Somewhat congested in the nose as well. Is there any cause for concern?

The possibilities here are that it could be a simple viral upper respiratory illness or it could be a pertussoid cough because of typical organisms.
