What Does It Mean To Have Painful Clitoris And Itchy Vagina After Having Had An Intercourse?
I had sex with my fiancée 6 days ago, but yesterday my vagina had started to itch and made me feel uncomfortable...thinking it was possibly to do with the fact i needed a shower i went and had one. When i was washing myself i felt a burst of pain and found that my clitoris was hurting too. Its now the second day and ive still got that itchy sensation and the stinging pain in the lower part of my clitoris. I shower every day at least once so i know its nothing to do with my hygiene and my diet is consistently healthy. I'm wondering if it is just an irritation through sex or whether its something serious as ive tried to look for answers on the internet, including the NHS and have found nothing...any help would be grateful
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Your symptoms can be either due to lack of lubrication during intercourse which might cause such pain OR due to candida infection. You can apply any moisturizing lotion locally for 2-3 days & if symptoms are not relieved, consult gynecologist to rule out/treat infection. Wish you good health.
