What Does It Mean To Miss Period While Taking Microgynon?

I was taking Microgyon 30 which I stopped on the 6th Aug, I then had my first period on the 16th September but still haven t had my second period. My husband and I decided to start trying for a baby about two weeks ago but six test say I am not pregnant. Can you advise?

Hi,

Since you have mentioned history of intercourse 2 weeks back and missing your period now,pregnancy is a high possibility. I would suggest you to repeat the test in a couple of days since some women may show false negative results when the test is taken, although they are pregnant. Alternatively, blood hCG levels can be taken instead of urine test which is more sensitive in detecting pregnancy.
