What Does Knuckle Pain After An Injury Indicate?

while playing a game with my little brother I thumped him with my middle finger when I went to thump him it felt like the middle knuckle rolled off to one side now for several days its been bruised and swollen and very tender I still have full range of motion but yet it hurts in certain ways when I move it the pain sometimes feels like it is right behind the middle knuckle..... what could this be???

If you can move it fully, than probably you have sprained your ligaments of the joint, or may be some undisplaced fracture, consult a Hand Surgeon, get an X ray done and only then can we come to a diagnosis
