Hi. Yesterday I noticed a very large dark purple and yellow bruise on the back of my leg. It s about 5-6cm and 4cm wide. I ve had a nurse look at it and she said It is very bad and looks like it nearly broke the skin. I ve no memory of this happening and it didn t start to hurt until about an hour ago. Now my lower leg is starting to throb, could it just be growing pains? I m 5 11 female and 17 years old and I get them a lot. I ve also had very bad headaches recently and i read that bruising and headaches can be linked with diabetes.. All help appreciated
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you may be having cellulitis as you are diabetes and it is throbbing pain .Whether you have fever. Probably headache is not related to it. However it may be related to diabetes. Cellulis are more common in diabetes.I think you need to visit doctor as it may require urgent treatment. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
