What Does Left Sided Breast Pain Indicate?

Hi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here... feeling severe pain on my left side breast. I m feeding breast milk from 2 years and half months.but my baby likes to drink right side breast milk. I expressed left side breast milk n gave her in a bottle. But after her 6 months I stopped expressing. Now after 2years I am feeling pain on left breast.what is the reason for this pain?

Pain in non used breast while breast feeding, can be due collection of milk causing inflammation of milk gland inflammation / abscess. A course of antibiotic, anti inflammatory drugs along with hormones to stop milk secretion( while you wean the baby& start with top feeds, normal food gradually) is what you need.
