What Does Lesion And Circumscribed Focus Of Decreased Attenuation In Liver Mean?

I am 64 yr old female with a history of breast cancer & am Brca1 positive. I have been having symptoms of feeling full & uncomfortable. I recently had an abdominal ct which showed well-circumscribed focus of decreased attenuation 6 mm in segment 4 of the liver and similar lesion also present subcentimeter in segment 5 of the liver. No other mass lesions were seen. The report suggests cysts but I am concerned about possible metastisis. What would you suggest? Thank you.

Hello,

The scan report suggestive of cystic lesion and OT is unlikely of metastasis. You can go for a close follow-up and consider a CT guided biopsy to rule out metastasis.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
