What Does Localized And Severe Abdominal Pain Unrelated To Menstruation Indicate?
I have Left side abdominal pain, very severe. Initially, I thought it was menstrual cramps. Some months they are quite severe and they have been getting worse in recent months because my morena IUD has run out of hormones. I am due to get another one next month. The pain is very localized. It feels like where my left ovary would be. But the pain being so severe and so consistently localized makes me think it might not be related to my period. Taking 2 tramadol last night was the only thing that allowed me to get any sleep last night. It was mostly ok during the day today. But got bad again at about 4:30pm. And now the pain is again very severe.
You need to remove the IUD, the symptoms you mentioned is all because of that IUD. You need not wait until next month. Sometimes it gets bad to worse in some patients.
