What Does Missed Bowel Movements With History Of Diarrhea And Vomiting Mean?
last friday stomach beginto swell a few minutes later diahrea and vomiting at the same time this all happened about 3 am now it a week later no bowel movement since last friday by the way urge to eat solid food returned the next day that saturday but no movements why?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of bloating, vomiting and diarrhea at 3 am followed by normal appetite for solids but no bowel movements and wants to know the reason. It is possible that you took something like Imodium or so and the bowel movements stalled. I would advise you the following: Get clinical evaluation. X-ray of the abdomen for fecoliths and if present go for enema to clear the bowels first and then only think of taking laxatives if there is no intestinal problems or something like enteric fever or so.
