What Does Missing Periods And Weight Gain Indicate?
hi,im 21 years old.i had sex with my bf on 30th july we took care that sperm didnt enter my body.that month i got my period 1week late.this month 1month 2weeks has passed bu didnt get my period. i had put on weight also. what may be the reason. please help me out?
Pregnancy is one reason for missing period and apart from that hormonal imbalance could also cause irregular periods and weight gain. Do a urine pregnancy test and if it is negative after 6 weeks of amenorrhea wait and watch. If you have lower abdominal pain immediately approach a doctor. Serum Beta hCG will help you find out whether you are pregnant or not. Approach a doctor for scan if UPT is positive. Get yourself checked for Hypothyroidism if you have intolerance to cold and weight gain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
