What Does Multifollicular Thyroid Mean?

I am a 34yr old female with a history of thyroid cancer. I am going in Friday for a biopsy of a lymph node in my neck. I have recently started to have night sweats and I am always exhausted. The ultrasound showed multiple enlarged lymph nodes and the Dr said the were multifollicular. What does multifollicullar mean, and what is the probibility that this will be cancer agian.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

You have history of thyroid cancer. You may have metastatic carcinoma in lymphnode. There is no terminology like multifollicular. Please send me your biopsy reports so that I can help you further.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
