What Does My 14 Week Ultrasound Mean? Is It Safe To Travel By Train?

Hi !! My name is Pbjnka, I just had ultrasound at 14 week (GA by LMP), Report says that " PLACENTA is POSTERIOR reaching upto and partially covering OS. Is it very serious? For what reason it has happened?
Is it safe to Travel by Train ?? Please Help...

Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. your scan tells that there is PLACENTA PRAEVIA, what you need is rest and repeat scan at 20 weeks to confirm the location of placenta, there can MIGRATION OF PLACENTA INTO UPPER SEGMENT AS PREGNANCY ADVANCES, so kindly do not worry. I personally do not advise you to travel in present situation.
