What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

Hi, I have just had a CT scan and the result is that there is a poorly defined hypo dense area in the posterior limb of the left internal capsule. This shows no enhancement. No focal intra-axial abnormality is seen elsewhere. Comment there is no mass lesion. Minor hypo density in the internal capsule could reflect the presence of an old small lacunae infarct. Does this mean I have had a silent stroke?????

I have studied your case and I think you might have a small stroke in the past. These stroke called lacuna infarct and usually not causes serious issue. But you have to make sure that there is no high blood pressure in your case.
You should also check for diabetes. If both these conditions are normal than there is no need to worry. If there is any of the above conditions than it is better to visit a neurologist and show it to him.
Thanks.
