Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear Sir Thanks for writing to us. The interpretation of lipid profile depends upon the clinical condition of the subject. If you do not have diabetes or any existing cardiovascular disease, smoking, high blood pressure and family history of pre-mature anginal heart disease, your target LDL is 160 mg%. Your HDL levels are fine. Your TG levles are higher and require life style modification including abstinence from alcohol and smoking, optimal weight, daily exercise, and avoiding fried foods. Sincerely Sukhvinder
