My husbands semen analysis is as follows: Period of abstinence 4days Time of collection : 9.00 am Volume : 3ml PH : 8.0 Fructose : detected Color: gray white Liquefaction : 240 minutes Motility : 60 Motility progressive : 40% Motility -non progressive : 20% Motility - immotile : 40% Sperm count : 125 ml Normal forms : 80% Abnormal forms 20% Double head : + % Bitail : + % PUS cells : 4-5 / hpf Impression : normal study with delayed liquefaction (viscosity increased) Can you please guide about what does it say? How can we reduce liquefaction ? Thanks.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
As mentioned in the report all parameters are normal except liquefaction time which is very high, it means the semen is thick, also pus cells 4-5 / hpf are found. There is possibility of infection, he should do semen culture and sensitivity test. Depending on the report further advice can be given.
