What Does My Thyroid Test Result Indicate?
My mother has thyroid from last 4year she is now 51year.her T3 serum is, 0.67 T4 serum is 3.78 TSH serum is 12.20 She has taken homopathy treatment but from last month she has started allopathy treatment. their is a problem of weight loss. Shr is now taking Thyrox 100 tablets sir please provide me some suggestion so that her thyroid can be cure andshe will gain wait.

Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Hypothyroidism is associated with weight gain. Once started on thyroxine the weight gained will be lost. There wont be further weight loss when thyroid function is normalised.
