Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Pain in the hips and groin may be due to lumbar spondylosis with radiculopathy or sciatica or muscle spasm etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid lifting heavy weight from the ground, use physiotherapy. Use NSaids for pain relief. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and take X-ray and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
