What Does Painful Sores On Lips After Taking Dipping Tobbaco Indicate?
Hi, I used to dip all the time. Which only consists of like once a day for like 4/5 months. But I had taken a break for 2 months then started again and I over did it. I was throwing in huge amount of grizzly wintergreen and now my lip and gums are killing me. Theh got torn up and have been hurting for like 4 days now, theres like little sores but it doesn't loom bad at all but the pain is really bad. Should I be worried?
It is likely that the components of the moist snuff (the other name for dipping tobacco) has caused inflammation of the mouth. You can consider the use of an oral pain killer such as ibuprofen/cataflam/aspirin/naproxen.
In addition a topical antiseptic/analgesic combination might also help. An example would be chloroseptic gargle or spray.
You may want to consider discontinuing any further use of the dipping agent.
I hope this helps
