What Does Pink Tissue In Urine Indicate During Pregnancy?
Dear Dr. I am 6 weeks pregnant. I am having little pain in my lower abdomen. Yesterday when I passed urine I noticed pink color tissue but not today. FYI this is my second pregnancy after 6 years. But I haven t noticed anything like that in my first pregnancy. I will appreciate your reply. Thank you.

Slight pink tissue can mean that you have blood mixed in the urine . Since you also have pain in your lower abdomen these features could indicate a threatened abortion . You should see your gynecologist and also get an ultrasound to check for the fetal viability .After gynec consultation you will have to start tablet Duphaston 10 mg twice a day to help with the pregnancy along with injection proluton depot 500 mgs once weekly .You are advised complete bed rest , no coitus and no lifting heavy weights .
