What Does Popping Sound Only In Right Ear While Breathing Indicate?
When I'm laying on my right side after I wake up early in the morning, my right ear makes a slight popping sounds as I breathe in and exhale. There is no pain or anything, it just makes this popping noise. It doesn't do it if I lay on my back or my left side, only on my right side and right ear. I of course can only sleep soundly when on my right side.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of popping in right ear while breathing which seems to be due to creation of negative pressure inside ear due to eustachian tube dysfunction. Need not to worry. I would sugest you to consult ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after thorough examination. You should get paranasal sinus X-ray done and otoscopic examination of ear done and start treatment after proper prescription. You should take nasal saline rinses and take steam inhalation as well. Take proper course of antibiotics such as Amoxicillin along with antiinflammatory medication such as Levocetrizine. Avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object and put otogesic ear drops. Avoid excessive use of mobile from that side.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
