What Does Positive Pregnancy Test After 4 Weeks Of Abortion Imply ?

can pregnacare cause hcg levels i haf a misscariage 3 weeks ago when i was 5 errks pregnant my pregnacy tests over last 2 days are all positive some are darker lines than the others even at 2pm had a dark line ive been feeling sickly again and tender breasts and cramps

Hi,

Its best that you have a serum(blood) test for beta HCG and repeat it after 48 hours .An ultrasound will also be required.
It is possible that the hcg remains elevated for upto 3 weeks after abortion,but Your other symptoms make further evaluation necessary.
An ultrasound is necessary to see if there is any residual tissue in uterus or thickened endometrium. The hcg will tell us if there is a rare chance that there is an ectopic or molar pregnancy which can cause complications.
