What Does Purple Piped Out Blood Vessel On Labia During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi I am 32 weeks pregnant. I have this purple piped out blood vessel on my labia. I've been having it over a month and doesn't go away. It hurts sometimes when I'm walking, sitting or clean myself. I've asked my doc but she says its nothing to worry about but it does bother me

Hello ma'am and welcome.

It is most probably a blood vessel that has been pushed slightly superficially due to the changes your body is experiencing. As long as your doctor has examined it and finds it of no cause for concern, along with all your blood coagulation profile values being normal, then this should be something you should forget about as it will surely get better and completely disappear once you deliver.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
