What Does Pus Cells In Stool Test Indicate?
Hi, Severe itching in the perineal and vaginal region can be due to many causes like worm infestation, fungal infection, proctitis etc. A few pus cells in stool R/E is normal unless there are systemic features like fever, abdominal pain, loose stools. So I would suggest to oral mebendazole 100 mg twice daily for 3 days. If symptoms do not improve, then I would suggest to see your doctor. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Muhammad Zahir Shah, Internal Medicine Specialist
