What Does Reddish Brown Vaginal Discharge And Faint Positive UPT Indicate?
Hi there. I took three pregnancy test yesterday, and they all came back positive. Faint positives but positives none the less. This morning I took another to see if the result would be darker, and to me it looked like a negative result. I m having some light mild cramping, with some spotting that has varied from light pink, to a darker reddish brown discharge. It is not as heavy as my normal period, no bright red, no clots. I just wanted to know of this is a normal or common symptom in the early stages of pregnancy.
Hello, Thanks for posting your query. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. If such a test is negative, with a history of regular menstrual cycles, pregnancy is unlikely. Implantation bleed is a fresh light-colored bleed seen at the time of the expected period. You can go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titers along with a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify and plan further management. Hope this helps.
