What Does Small White Matter Hyper-density In The Corona Radiata Indicate?

I have a small focus of white matter hyperdensity in the corona radiata suggestive of a small focus of white matter chronic microvascular ischemia. What exactly does this mean for me - Alzheimers? Is there anything I can do to better the situation? possibly slow down the progress of whatever is happening? What might be the cause? High cholesterol? alcohol? stress? Your asssitance would be appreciated. Thank you, Suzy Joy
