Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Causes for mucous in stool may be due irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems or dysentery or diarrhea or food intolerance or malabsorption syndromes, etcetera.

Blood in stool may be due to hemorrhoid or fissure or fistulas or colitis or infection.

Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Avoid dairy products and gluten containing food. Take FODMAP diet.

If symptoms do not improve, please consult your physician who will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
